Join us at 6 pm on Wednesday, March 14, for a screening of Wonder. Based on R J Palacio’s best selling novel of the same name, Wonder tells the story of ten-year-old Auggie Pullman, who was born with extreme facial abnormalities and was not expected to survive. Auggie goes from being home-schooled to entering fifth grade at a private middle school in Manhattan, which entails enduring the taunting and fear of his classmates as he struggles to be seen as just another student.
The New York Times observed, “Wonder” is that rare thing, a family picture that moves and amuses while never overtly pandering.
This event is free and open to the public. Popcorn will be served!
Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult, age 18 or older, at all times
