What’s your Stamp Collection worth?

stampOn Tuesday October 15, at 7 pm., the Berkshire Stamp Club will present a short talk on stamp collecting followed by an opportunity for the public to have their stamp collections evaluated by expert stamp collectors.
Anyone who has stamps, a stamp collection or any other philatelic material, United States or foreign,  is welcome to bring the items to the Athenaeum auditorium to be examined by senior stamp club members who have a combined collecting expertise of over 150 years.  The service will be provided free to all attendees.
Edward Ptak, a collector with over 70 years of collecting experience, notes that “many persons either have collections from their youth or have been left collections by loved ones with no idea of their value.  The Berkshire Stamp Club is always pleased to help individuals make sound judgments on selling, keeping or restarting their collections.”
The Berkshire Stamp Club meets each second and fourth Tuesday of the month at the Berkshire Mall.
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum, now in its 75th year of service to Pittsfield’s public library. This event is free.
