Food for Fines Week: Monday, April 9 – Saturday, April 14

Each year during National Library Week, the Berkshire Athenaeum offers a special “Food for Fines” incentive to encourage readers to return overdue library materials. The library will accept nonperishable food items in lieu of paying fines for overdue books. Food collected during the week will be donated to local food banks.

General donation of food not associated with overdue library books is also encouraged.
