Display in memory of Titanic disaster

Marking the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic (April 14, 1912), the Athenaeum Local History Department has created a display honoring Berkshire County individuals  affiliated with the Titanic disaster. Those with Berkshire County connections include Mrs. Ada E Hall Ball; Miss E W Allen; Captain E J Smith; Frederick Seward; Mr and Mrs Fred M Hoyt; and Miss Caroline Endres. The display includes newspaper clippings and color images and can be viewed during regular library hours in the Berkshire Authors room.
