Would you consider supporting the Athenaeum?

If you like what we do here at the Berkshire Athenaeum, our services and programs for adults & children, perhaps you’d consider supporting us in one or more of the following ways.

  • Donate: Tax deductible donations targeted to the Berkshire Athenaeum (Pittsfield’s Public Library) are welcome and can be made online with a major credit card.
  • Make a Memorial Donation to the Berkshire Athenaeum for the purchase of books in honor of someone living or deceased.
  • Join: Join the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum, a membership organization that supports Athenaeum activities with fundraising, volunteer efforts, and programming. Paid membership is available at a variety of affordable levels. Benefits of membership include delivery of the quarterly Friends newsletter as well as advanced admission to the “Preview” of their very popular semiannual used booksales. Membership applications available at our public service desks.
  • Volunteer: Volunteer some of your time and/or skills. Please complete a Volunteer application (available at our public service desks) to aid us in matching your availability and skills with our needs.

Thank You!
