Documentary Screening tonight: “Oh, Saigon” at 7 pm

The second film in the Big Read documentary series, Oh, Saigon, will be shown on Tuesday, April 13 at 7 pm. Filmmaker Doan Hoang said, “If I could put my finger on the moment my family fell apart, it would be April 30, 1975.” In this film Doan returns to Vietnam to meet the people she left behind. Screening is free and open to the public.

This documentary film is presented by the Friends of the Berkshire Athenaeum in support of The Big Read, an NEA-funded project encouraging the reading and discussion of Tim O’Brien’s compelling novel, The Things They Carried, during the month of April.
