Tuesday, September 29: The Life of Elizabeth Blackwell, MD


Actress Linda Gray Kelley portrays Elizabeth Blackwell in this fast-moving, riveting one-woman show. After being rejected by all the leading medical schools, Miss Blackwell was accepted by Geneva Medical College where she graduated first in her class in 1849, becoming the first woman doctor to graduate from medical school and the first woman doctor of medicine in the modern era.
