Local Artist to paint watercolor portrait of Berkshire Athenaeum

sketchmar22reducedThe Friends of the Berkshire Athenaum have launched their first public painting event, selecting Pittsfield artist Marguerite Bride to create a watercolor portrait of the library building. The new work will ultimately hang in the main entrance of the Athenaeum, which celebrates its 35th birthday in the “new building” this year.
Bride’s painting will take place during May & June in the Main Reading Room of the Athenaeum,and you can follow this project by visiting her blog.
