Parking Lot Partially Closed:Tuesday, March 10

As part of the Berkshire Athenaeum’s renovations to the Local History and Reference departments, a new rooftop heating and air conditioning unit will be installed on Tuesday, March 10. Getting the unit up to the roof will require the use of a crane which will be set up in the Bartlett Avenue parking lot at the Athenaeum. It is estimated that the crane will be onsite from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. that day. During that time, half of the parking lot, including the drive through to the book drop, will be inaccessible. The Bartlett Avenue entrance to the building (into the Children’s Library) and the RSVP offices will be open and available during this installation.
